| Honest and a defender of the innocent. You sometimes make mistakes in judgment but you are generally good and would protect your crew from harm. | Click here to take the "Which Serenity character am I?" quiz... So, Im in my Emergency Medicine rotation now, and I passed my peds and internal med rotations. So, the last 2 days have been interesting and I was able to do an I&D and help with a few other procedures today. However with so many people needing things done it put us behind which ment we were rushed for 8 hours straight with time for a 15 min lunch. So about 30min after i was supposed to leave they announced a code 3 coming in so I was able to see my first one (it didn't go well). It was strange the whole thing was a manner of fact like, and even though I knew it would be like that I think I was expecting more.

Whats to say It’s amazing how you can let 4 months go by without posting anything, and in that time has anything new happened to me? Well, the short answer is not really. I'm still in school doing the whole PA thing but now I only have 6 more exams (2 months) until I'm done with my didactic portion of my training. So, in January I'll be let out into the real world to see how ignorant I really am (I feel like I don't know anything or at least enough to diagnose a patient correctly). However I can read this: 24 Y/O F c/o BRBPR. I do get a break this December for a friends wedding in India. So, that will be a lot of fun even though I'm not sure what is going on while I'm there. Other then school I've been bouldering when I can and have had marked improvement with it and with the guitar (Dave learn how to play the drums and yes Dave I mean now). Well thats all I have for now CAB Current Mood: sleepyCurrent Music: Metallica - The wait | | Saturday, June 17th, 2006 | | 11:26 am |

| You Are 36% Evil |
A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well. In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil. |
I think Dave can relate to this during our freshman year of college. People started to think he was crazy.
| You Communicate With Your Ears |
You love conversations, both as a listener and a talker. What people say is important to you, and you're often most affected by words, not actions. You love to hear complements from others. And when you're upset, you often talk to yourself. Music is very important to you. It's difficult to find you without your iPod. |
Still the same old thing with school. I'm still waiting to get my sutures out so I can be more active, which isn't happening soon enough. However, I went to the park in Oakland with my class, which was great. We cooked up some food, played a few games, and enjoyed the nice weather. It itches man So, I had my mole removed from my back today. He took of about a 3 x 6 mm area of skin and all I'm left with is this itch; and I really want to itch it but I can't. But it is a good thing sense it will be checked for cancer, which should be negative of course, and it can never become cancer now. However, the downside to it all is that I can't do any right upper body activity (no bouldering for 3 weeks at least NOOOOOOOOOO!!) because it was removed from between my spine and scapula.
It still itches man
Oh yea, yay for anesthesia

What to do? I got an hour before class that I didn't even know I had until now. The good news is that I passed my Medicine exam; 1 down and many more to go this semester.
Other then school life has been pretty simple; I climb when I can or when Dave is around (I know I can go to touchstone in Oakland but its $16 vs $5 on Friday in San Jose). Memorial Day weekend was fun and very busy; climbing, 2 barbecues, PA challenge bowl against 50 other schools (we ended in the top 4 but not 1st thats next year). The rest of the week was just about none stop studying/school work until probable next Monday.
Hey Jon if you don't have it you should get the aMotion CD (I think it only comes with the DVD) its a few remix from Mer De Noms and Thirteenth Step, but its really good. eMotion is good to if you don't have that one

You scored as Jean Grey. Jean Grey is likely the most powerful X-Man. She loves Cyclops very much but she has a soft spot for Wolverine. She's psychic so she can sense how others are feeling and tries to help them. She also has to control her amazing powers or the malevolent Phoenix entity could take control of her and wreak havok. Powers: Telekinetic, Telepathic

So, the downside of going to a medical school is that you start to think that you have all sorts of medical problems. Like right now we are learning about the heart and I have to wonder sometimes if I have anything wrong with mine. The main thing is that my blood pressure has gone up, stupid stress. O well Ill have to see how it goes over the vacation. CAB P.S. Wow
So I just shut my door and turned on Mozart's last Requiem, which is about 51 mins long, to time my self while I went through my PD exam (I was just going through the motions and saying everything I needed to say). To sum it up we get 45 min to do the test then 5 min to do 3 special test, and it took me 45-47 min to just talk and act my way through the test and I can't see myself getting much fast then this (I might need to mouths). On a lighter not I had a great weekend with my sisters and a lot of thought put into this up coming test. I can't really go through what we did since we went everywhere. Well that's all for now CAB Current Mood: nervousCurrent Music: Mozart | | Wednesday, November 16th, 2005 | | 11:50 pm |

Life is good
Had a good weekend doing the whole bouldering and movie thing on Friday, and going to an Opera on Sunday, which had subtitles (I can't remember what the right word is for that) so I knew what was going on. Dave I'm going to try and go to REI on Monday and look at some shoes. For school I've pretty much learned everything that I need to know for my Physical Examination class, which is really cool, and I was able to examine my first 2 patients (in a way) for the first time on Thursday and Friday. So, my main focus until the end of the semester is anatomy, which is kicking me in the ass, Medical Physiology, which isn't a problem, and getting ready for the hour long PE practical test, which shouldn't be to bad. Time for some popcorn and a movie. CAB Current Mood: good | | Sunday, November 6th, 2005 | | 1:49 am |

School
Yea no classes this Wednesday. Time to study all day for my anatomy test on Friday and spend some time with my cadaver, Sweet William (don't ask); I've been ignoring him lately. On the lighter side of things I really got into the arteries of the abdomen (the arteries were my main focus but I looked at other stuff too) for the last 2 hours for some reason. However, I could use a break this weekend, its been a long week or 2. So, I'm up for going out Friday Dave. Current Mood: curious |
